Game: Scarf Game

Supplies:

  • A bag of different coloured scarves

Teach the chant first:

I have a scarf,
Yes, I do!
If you tell me the colour
I will show it to you!

To Play:
  • Sparks sit in a circle and the Guider has the bag of scarves
  • As the Sparks chant, the Guider picks a scarf but keeps it hidden in the bag
  • Going around the circle, the first Spark guesses a colour by saying,"Is it ____?"
  • If the colour is incorrect, the Guider answers, "No" and moves on to the next Spark
  • If the answer is correct, the Spark puts the scarf around her neck and the Spark is given the bag
  • As the Sparks chant, the next Spark gets to guess
  • Repeat until all have had a turn
  • If a Spark guesses the correct colour twice, she may share by giving the scarf and bag to a friend who does not yet have a scarf.
