Game: Not My Cub

Supplies:

  • stuffed animal (lion)

Directions:

  1. Select a child to be the lion. Have the lion sit with her back to the other players at least ten feet away.
  2. Put a stuffed lion behind the child being the lion and pretend it is her cub.
  3. Have the other players take turns (one at a time) sneaking up behind the lion and trying to take the cub away.
  4. If the lion hears the person sneaking up, she can roar and then turn around.
  5. If the lion has caught a player, by tapping him on the shoulder, the tagged player takes the lion's place and becomes the new lion. She then goes back with the other players who have already been the lion.
  6. If there are no players left when the lion roars that child wins the game.
